MEMA 2021
MEMA 2021
Mema literally means 'half maceration', i.e. a short contact with the skins. This wine finishes its alcoholic fermentation in casks after being racked slightly in advance. This procedure gives an incredibly round and pleasant wine. The maturation in oak barrels lasts about 18 months.
TASTING NOTES
Intense garnet red. A soft, warm and enveloping wine with vanilla aromas and notes of butterscotch and milk chocolate.
FOOD PAIRINGS
Perfect with white meats and incredibly suitable with blue fish, especially roasted. Also excellent with medium-aged cheeses. Serve at 16-18°C.
